When there is a Breast Cancer diagnosis, there are many decisions that need to be made, one of them being the decision to have surgery. Depending on the type and size of cancer, a lumpectomy or mastectomy may be encouraged. Always get a second opinion and do your research about the side effects of surgery and the possibility of increasing the spread of cancer as a result of the surgery. At times, removing the toxic burden of a tumor may be beneficial. However, surgery does come with risks and cautions that should be exercised before and after the surgery.
Before discussing overcoming the effects of surgery, I do want to make a point about biopsies. Although it is not major surgery, it is a form of exploratory invasion of the body’s tissues. For most women, it is important for them to know what kind of tumor is growing in their breast, but for me, it was not. I also understood the risks involved in a biopsy, so I chose not to have one.
According to the John Wayne Cancer Center , needle biopsies can increase the spread of cancer by 50% compared to a lumpectomy. The problem with a biopsy is that the needle pierces the tumor wall and creates an avenue for the release of millions of cancer cells into the lymphatic and circulatory system. It is not unusual for women to have multiple biopsies, sometimes leaving behind a titanium chip as a marker.
If you are planning on having surgery, here are 5 simple ways to help you overcome the effects of surgery:
1.) Before the surgery, boost your Natural Killer Cell activity with medicinal mushrooms like Chaga, garlic and Sulforaphane form broccoli sprouts.
Increase your anti-inflammatory supplements such as curcumin, EGCG from Matcha green tea, clean fish oils and milk thistle extracts.
Bromelain is an enzymes derived from Pineapples. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties and helps to decrease the formation of scar tissue.
3.) Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP)
MCP helps to prevent the spread of cancer cells after surgery by decreasing the “stickiness ” of the cancer cells.
It can also cause cancer cells to self-destruct. You should use it 1 week before surgery and at least 6 months after surgery.
4.) If you are looking for a less toxic approach to pain relief after the surgery, the Homeopathic Arnica has proven to be very helpful. It reduces inflammation, swelling and decreases pain.
5.) Surgery is a very traumatic event physically and emotionally. Rescue Remedy is a combination of flower essences that help to balance the emotions and decrease tension and anxiety. In a double blind study , Bach Original Flower Essence rescue Remedy showed effectiveness in reducing situation al anxiety.
Although removal of tumors has proven to improve the healing capacity of the body, it does not come without serious side effects. After a cancer diagnosis, you do have time to research and make informed decisions. I have seen many women successfully heal their body with internal protocols that weaken the cancer and boost their Immune System.
Here is an experience from one of my coaching clients in the USA:
“ I had an appointment with the surgeon to prepare for tomorrow’s mastectomy. When she felt the tumor, she (with a surprised look on her face) said, “THE TUMOR HAS SHRUNK!” Immediately followed by, “What are you doing (for treatment)?” She went on to explain that in 20+ years of practice, she had NEVER seen a tumor shrink without chemo, radiation or Tamoxifen.”
That is living proof that the body has the ability to heal and self-repair, given the proper nutrients, an aggressive herbal approach to weaken and destroy the cancer, boost the Immune System, detoxification, and emotional healing. The 7 Essentials is that step by step guide that walks you through the journey of beating Breast Cancer naturally.
