Can GMO Foods Increase Your Breast Cancer Risk?

GMO foods are becoming more common and filling your grocery store isle, without you even being aware of it. Fortunately, there is much research and proof that GMO’s  cause irreparable damage to our digestive system and Immune System,  leading to allergies, inflammation and cancer.

In May of this year, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) published concerns about the effect of GMO food causing adverse health effects. Animals studies have shown the following issues:

1.)    Altered structure and function of the liver including lipid and carbohydrate metabolism as well as increased oxidative stress.

2.)    Accelerated aging

3.)    Changes in the kidney, spleen and pancreas

4.)    GM corn caused infertility and lower birth weight in litters

5.)    Altered over 400 gene expressions.

6.)    Intestinal damage

7.)    Increased cell growth

8.)    Disruption of the Immune System

 It is really mind boggling to think of the irreparable damage that these GMO foods are impressing on the human race.

A study commissioned by the French Government and conducted by a French molecular endocrinologist named Gilles-Eric Seralini found serious health concerns after feeding rats GMO corn.

1.)    Females died 2-3 times more rapidly than the control groups.GMO tumors

2.)    Females developed large mammary tumors

3.)    The pituitary gland was disabled

4.)    The sex hormone balance was modified.

Here are 4 simple tips to help you avoid GMO foods:              

1.)    Buy organic  – Organic producers cannot intentionally use GMO seeds

3.)    Avoid at-risk ingredients such as corn, soybean, canola, cottonseed, beet sugar, and aspartame.

4.)    Use the Non GMO Shopping guide when you shop

With the evidence mounting against GMO foods and the DNA damage they cause, be proactive by making informed decisions about what you put in your body.  Avoid GMO’s as much as you can in order to reduce your Breast Cancer risk.
