For thousands of years, garlic has been credited with treating the common cold, to killing fungal and viral infections, enhancing your sex life and even reducing your Breast Cancer risk! As a matter of fact, the National Cancer Institute has a whole article on Garlic and Cancer Prevention. Even the World Health Organization suggests a daily dose of 1 clove of garlic for general health maintenance. But exactly which part of the garlic has such therapeutic benefits?
It’s the heart of the garlic and the origin of its strong odor, called Allicin, that appears to be rich with power. Allicin is a phytochemical native to garlic that is released once chopped or crushed. It’s considered to be an anti-fungal and antibacterial defense mechanism for garlic and, fortunately for us, some of those same benefits are passed along when we consume it.
In addition to arthritis, the common cold, Lyme’s disease and more, it is also credited with combating issues that many women with Breast Cancer struggle with such as candida, parasites and viral infections. Basically, Allicin can strengthen the immune system and we all know that is essential for healing cancer.
But Allicin appears to have an even deeper role when it comes to cancer.
Studies show an association between increased intake of garlic and reduced risk of certain cancers, including cancers of the stomach, colon, esophagus, pancreas and breast.
Allicin may deliver anti-cancer effects by inhibiting free radical production and by igniting the activation of enzymes that weaken and neutralize carcinogens. Garlic also seems to induce apoptosis, our body’s way of killing abnormal cells. The key here is that many cancer cells have built-in defenses that prevent apoptosis.
That’s not all: Allicin also seems to enhance DNA repair . Now that’s a pretty strong resume for a tiny clove.
Allicin even offers another benefit to Breast Cancer Conquerors who have chosen conventional treatment. A recent study indicated that those taking Tamoxifen in conjunction with Allicin may alleviate the liver injury associated with taking Tamoxifen.
While clinical studies need to be pursued in order to have a better understanding of Allicin’s impact on Breast Cancer, there is enough evidence to convince me that adding it into my healing regimen will only deliver benefits.
How to add Allicin into your personal care
If you manually tried to get concentrated Allicin from garlic, it would be quite labor intensive. You would need to separate the cloves from the head, peel, trim, dice and allow them to rest 10 or 15 minutes. The key would be to consume the garlic raw without heating or drying. However, Allicin molecules have a very short life as they begin to react with surrounding proteins.
In order to get the most stable and most potent Allicin into my system, I have discovered a therapeutic strength of Allicin called Garlicillin. It’s 100% stabilized Allicin that is made from fresh, raw garlic that is specifically selected to ensure each capsule contains significant enzyme activity.
British scientists have developed a proprietary process through which the naturally occurring Allicin in garlic is extracted, stabilized and concentrated. The end result is a nutraceutical with a guaranteed 100% yield of pure stabilized Allicin extract, a sophisticated, patented extraction process that produces pure Allicin and locks in all its goodness into convenient capsule, cream, liquid, or spray.
For your convenience, I have added Garlic Supreme to my online store so that you too, can benefit from its powerful effects. I love it! Enjoy the many benefits of garlic without the messy, oily taste.
