Wild caught salmon is an excellent source of protein and Omega 3’s. Never eat farm raised salmon as it is full of toxic chemicals, dyes and is often genetically modified. The beauty of salmon is that you can change the flavor with various spices. Dill, mustard and crushed garlic are some of my favorite toppings for salmon. This week I tried a horseradish sauce and really liked it too. Bon Appétit!
1 cup horseradish sauce
½ cup organic ketchup
2 Tbs. organic mustard
2 Tbs. Bragg’s Liquid Aminos or Tamari (fermented soy sauce)
Mix thoroughly and spread on the salmon.
Bake at 400 F for 20-30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
Serve with a vegetable or a salad and you have a quick, nutritious meal. Enjoy!
In this picture I have steamed spaghetti squash and topped it with cilantro a bit of butter.
