
I have a new toy! A Spiralizer. I finally took the time to order one and started experimenting with it. So don’t be surprised if many of my next few recipes are a result of my playing with my Spiralizer. The beauty of a Spiralizer is that you can make noodles and various shapes with all kinds of raw vegetables and some fruits. In this week’s recipe, the radishes are part of the cruciferous family, which is great for liver detoxification and estrogen metabolism. Cucumbers are a great cool food for summer eating. This is fast and easy and makes a great addition to any meal. Bob Appétit!
Spiralize 1 cucumber. (peel if not organic)
Spiralize 6 large radishes.
Toss with your favorite vinaigrette or lemon and olive oil.
Salt to taste. Enjoy.
