Quinoa is such a versatile food since it can be served hot or cold. The high fiber content is very filling so a little goes a long way. If you like a crunchy fruit breakfast, this is it. Simply use leftover quinoa from the night before and add your favorite fruit and/or nuts. You can pour almond milk over it or eat is as is. Bon Appétit!
Put 1-2 cups cooked and cold quinoa in a bowl.
Chop up an apple and a few strawberries or any fruit for that matter
Mix with the quinoa.
Sprinkle with Barlean’s Omega Swirl or Flax Seed Oil
Top with 1-2 Tbsps. of ground flax, hemp or chia seeds.
