Grain Free and RAW Banana Granola

If you like something substantial to chew on in the morning for breakfast, you will love this granola. It is 100% raw, grain free and has no added sweetener except for ripe bananas. This also makes a great trail mix snack for you to carry with you in those emergency snack-attacks. Bon Appétit!

Soak the following nuts overnight:

2 cups almonds

2 cups pumpkin seeds

2 cups sunflower seeds

½  cup chia seeds

If you want a sweeter version of this granola, you can soak ¼ cup dates for about 4 hours in the morning and add them to the banana mixture.

Rinse and drain all your nuts.

In a food processor, you will pulse and chop the nuts separately.

Pour into a bowl and mix.

Put 2 over ripe bananas into your food processor with 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. Pulse until the bananas are smooth.

Pour the banana mixture into the nut mixture and mix thoroughly.

Spread thinly unto the dehydrator trays. Dehydrate at 115 F for about 12 hours.

If you don’t have a dehydrator, place the mixture unto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and slowly heat at 175 F. Bake 2-4 hours, depending on how dry and crunchy you would like it.

Enjoy with fresh, organic berries and almond milk. Yum!
