
There are endless varieties of juices since we can mix and match vegetables, greens and herbs. The plant compounds in Cilantro have anti-cancer properties – they prevent DNA damage and prevent the spread of Breast Cancer cells. Cilantro extracts act as powerful anti-oxidants, preventing oxidative damage in the cells. It also binds heavy metals such as mercury and expels them from the body. Adding cilantro to your juices and smoothies will not only add a delicious flavor, but it will provide many healing benefits. This recipe makes 2 large glasses. Bon Appétit!
Rinse and clean the following organic vegetables and fruits:
8 – 10 large Kale leaves, stems removed
1 cup of Cilantro leaves and stems
1 cup of Parsley
6 Celery stalks
1 Cucumber
1 Lime
1 Lemon
2 Granny Smith Apples
Cut and quarter the produce so that it fits into your juicer.
Add a dash of cayenne to the bottom of the glasses. Pour the juice and drink slowly, swishing the juice in your mouth to “digest” the juices. Enjoy!
I try the green juice. But I am not 100% sure if I was to used skin of lemon/ lime. I peel it off
If it is organic, you can keep the peel. The peel contains limonene which kills cancer cells. 🙂
