Tangy Orange Chicken

Organic, cage free, antibiotic free chicken can be a wholesome way to feed your body protein. Admittedly, chicken recipes are a dime a dozen and I often get bored with the texture and tastes. This is a combination of a few recipes that I experimented with and combined. I was very pleased with the outcome and the flavor. Bon Appétit!

4 chicken breasts

2 Tbsp. Grapeseed of

½ cup almond flour or rice flour

1Tbsp each or Oregano and Basil.

Himalayan Crystal Salt

Organic Ground Red Pepper

Slice the thickness of the chicken breasts in half so they are nice and thin. You can also pound them between parchment paper to make them even flatter. Dip the breasts in the flour  and spice mixture and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Over medium heat, brown the chicken in the grapeseed oil until they are slightly browned and cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the pan and keep the breast warm and covered. Add the following to the pan:

½ cup white wine

The juice form 2 organic oranges

Stir with a whisk until reduced and sauce is thick. Pour over chicken and enjoy the tangy taste of the wine-orange combination!
