Turkey Meat Loaf

This meat loaf packs easy to digest protein with a few simple flavorful ingredients. Substitute grass fed beef or bison for a meatier loaf. You can serve this hot or cold. If you have left overs the next day, you can slice the loaf fairly thin once it is cold. Enjoy on crackers or a slice of Ezekiel Bread. Crumble it up over a salad to add protein to your salad. Bon Appétit!

Mix the following together:

1 lb. organic ground turkey

2 slices of Ezekiel bread, cut up in tiny squares

½ cup onion

½ cup celery

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1/3 cup organic ketchup or tomato sauce

1 tsp. salt

1 tbsp. oregano

1 tsp. basil

Whisk 2 organic eggs and mix into the meat mixture

Pat and flatten into a loaf pan and pour another 1/3 cup ketchup over the top of the loaf.

Bake at 375 for about 45 minutes or until the center is done.
