Are Your Sleep Patterns Speeding Up Cancer Growth?

Sleep is one of those things we take for granted, until we begin to experience sleepless nights. Your sleep patterns can be speeding up the growth of cancer in your body or it can be arresting it, which is why it is SO IMPORTANT that you pay attention to the information in this article.

I took sleep for granted until I began to experience sleepless nights here and there. Them when I turned 50 and went through Menopause, I began to experience sever insomnia. I was exercising, eating well, getting adjusted and meditating on a regular basis. But as the insomnia became chronic, I began to do some serious research on the effects of insomnia and how to overcome it naturally.

First you must understand what lack of sleep does to your body:

OK, so I think you get the idea that lack of sleep can affect your health in multiple ways. So what is the solution?

Discover WHY you are not sleeping.

1.) Turn off that I Pad and pull yourself away from the computer.

ipadBlue wavelength light that is emitted from our electronic devices, including televisions, have serious impact on our melatonin production. Melatonin not only induces sleep, but it is also a cytotoxic hormone that kills cancer cells. In fact, melatonin protects against estrogen overdose and boosts your Immune System.

2.) Your hormones may be out of balance.

There is an intricate balance between your female hormones and the neurotransmitters in your brain. These chemical messengers regulate many physical and emotional processes in our body. There are 6 main neurotransmitters that affect your sleep.

Some are excitatory hormones that keep you awake, while others are more calming. If there is not enough Serotonin  and too much Epinephrine, then you are setting yourself up for insomnia.

The best way to test your levels is through a simple saliva and urine home-test kit. The kit is delivered to your home, follow the instructions and return the kit to the lab. I will then receive the results and review them with you. You can then take proactive steps to improve your sleep.

I can personally say that this test has allowed me to have a very restful and healthy sleep 95% of the time. I LOVE getting 7-8 hours of healthy sleep and waking up ready to take on the day!

3.) You can’t shut off your brain.

We have all had nights when there were things on our mind and we just can’t stop thinking about them. What is happening is that your brain is functioning at the alert Beta and Alpha frequency entrainment_brainwaves_comp2versus the calming and relaxing Theta and Delta frequencies. With advanced technology and scientific research, there are now programs that entrain the brain to calm the frequencies.

This is very similar to what happens when you strike a tuning fork and hold another one next to it. The second one starts vibrating at the same frequency. Your brain is not different since it is an energetic motor, so to speak.

The best program I have found is called the Sleep Salon. The frequencies and sounds are designed to relax the brain to the calm theta and delta frequencies so you can fall asleep naturally and easily. I am relatively new to this program, but so far, I love it!! For only $37 you can train your brain to relax and get a good night’s sleep. To learn more, check out this interesting web site.

If you are struggling with sleep, take proactive steps to get back to a healthy and restorative sleep. Not only will you feel better in the morning, but you may very well be slowing down the growth of cancer cells in your body.

  1. Hi Dr V,

The link to simple saliva and urine home test kit doesn’t work. Is there another new link now? Also, I live in Australia, can this test be done? Given the long travel to your lab in US?
