Apple “Caramel” & Chocolate Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 Green Apple, sliced
  • 8 dates
  • 1 cup or so of warm water (to soak the dates)
  • 1/4 cup of Lily’s chocolate, melted
  • Shredded coconut
  • Handful of almonds, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup coconut or almond milk
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

  • Soak your dates in warm water for 5-10 minutes
  • Remove dates from water and add to a blender along with a dash of salt and coconut or almond milk, blend until as smooth as possible
  • Spread the date “caramel” on each apple slice, then sprinkle on shredded coconut, and almonds and drizzle melted chocolate 
  • Put the apples into the freezer for 10-15 minutes until chocolate sets, then remove and enjoy immediately!
