If you are looking for a simple and nutritious dessert or snack that you can prepare in just a few minutes, this recipe is perfect. The chia seeds add the pudding texture as well as fiber and trace minerals. Surprisingly, the seeds also offer and high quality protein since the have a good balance of amino acids. You can change it up by varying the type of berries you use – blueberries, raspberries or strawberries. Bon Appétit!
Add the following to a blender:
2 cups of almond or coconut milk
1-2 scoops of your favorite green powder
½ cup of fresh or frozen berries
7 tablespoons of Chia seeds
5 drops of vanilla or chocolate stevia
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Blend for 30 seconds.
Pour into individual dishes and refrigerate. The pudding will thicken in about 30 minutes.
