These Hempseed bars are a deliciously sweet, yet not too sweet, snack. They can be kept in the freezer for easy access, so make a big batch to keep on hand!
Hempseeds are a great source of anti-inflammatory omega 3 fatty acids. They are a good source of amino acids, fiber, and other essential vitamins and minerals making them a great snack!

Ingredients:
1-cup raw nuts I used walnuts
4 Dates
¼ Cup almond butter
½ Cup hempseeds or hemp hearts
¼ cup flaxseed meal
2 tbsp collagen powder or vegan protein (optional)
2 tbsp coconut oil
½ tsp Himalayan sea salt
dash of cinnamon
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients in a food processor until well blended.
Place parchment paper in a 5×7-baking dish. Spread the protein mix evenly and place in the freezer.
With Topping:
½ cup Lilly chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil
Melt in a double broiler the chocolate chips and coconut oil.
Spread evenly over the top of the cold protein mix (it doesn’t need to be frozen).
Place back into the freezer for about an hour or two.
Keep in the freezer for a month or two or easy snacking!
