Olives should be included in your diet on a regular basis since they contain so many nutritious substances. They are high in monounsaturated fats and phenolics, very similar to olive oil, which have anti-inflammatory properties. They are also rich in iron, calcium and Vitamin A. I love the spicy taste they add to any salad or dish. This spread is a quick and easy addition to any salad, vegetable or fish dish. Bone Appétit!
In a small food processor add the following:
1 cup of pitted Kalamata olives
1 cup mayonnaise (avocado or olive oil)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Blend until smooth.
Spread over fish or any vegetable dish. Enjoy!
