Are you on a healing journey and needing some comfort food? Well, look no further these dumplings are simple and yet delicious. I made these to add to a nutrient-dense bone broth to complete the meal. The coconut flour adds a very nice flavor and texture. Coconut adds iron, potassium, and phosphorus as well as fiber to these dumplings. Coconuts are one of the best sources of lauric acid, which is a protective type of fatty acid that makes up 50% of the fatty acids in coconut. Lauric acid can improve cholesterol levels, heart health, and thyroid health. When lauric acid is digested it forms a substance called Monolaurin which can kill harmful pathogens like bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Bon Appétit!

Can you use a different flour other than coconut? I have a coconut allergy.
Sure! You could use any wheat flour alternative- almond flour is a great option!
Could a person substitute egg whites for eggs?
I am sure you could! Another alternative is 1tbsp of ground flax seeds mixed with 2 or so tbsp of water
