Free (Or Low-Cost) Ways To Conquer Breast Cancer

Quick Read:

  • Shopping at Costco and swapping out toxic products for better options are easy ways to eat better and live cleaner.
  • Intentionally managing stress, tapping/EFT, dry skin brushing, meditation, and German New Medicine are free ways to balance your energy and heal emotional wounds.

There are plenty of powerful, effective, and FREE (or close to it) things you can do to heal breast cancer. Moreover, what healing techniques work for a Wellness Warrior also benefit nearly anyone seeking to optimize their overall health. Read, share, and save for future reference, as this blog is overflowing with free (or almost) things that everyone should be doing to cultivate a body, mind, and soul that is built for longevity, energy, strength, happiness, and vibrant health!

These practices—steeped in simplicity—are deeply woven into the 7 Essentials System®, and things you can do right now, no matter where you live…so let’s get going!

But first, if you are not familiar with the 7 Essentials System®, or need a refresher, please review it here.

  1. Let Food Be Your Medicine

Food is fuel; what you put into your body can either starve or feed cancer. You have to buy food anyway, so here are a few ways you can make “better for your healing” and more cost-effective choices.

Shop at Costco or Sam’s Club

You can stock up on Manuka honey, flaxseed, and organic produce, often at much cheaper prices than regular grocery stores. Also, Costco is a fantastic place to buy cooking oils in bulk that are significantly cheaper than anywhere else. We recommend purchasing their 2.45 L Organic Coconut Oil (by Kirkland) for various purposes, including cooking, skin moisturizing, and oil pulling for oral health. Click here to discover why many health experts say that seed oils (soybean oil, canola oil, safflower oil, etc.) are worse than cigarettes and how to simply swap them out for nourishing oils.

Homegrown and Farmer’s Markets

You don’t even need a full-on garden; even a hanging tomato plant or a small windowsill herb garden (think basil, rosemary, mint) can uplift meals and spirit. Farmers’ Markets also make for fun, community-centered outings and an excellent way to buy fresh and local produce.

  1. Reduce Your Toxic Exposure

Some of the most effective ways to reduce toxic exposure are daily swaps and almost free, at-home detox therapies.

Toxic products

Swap chemical-heavy cleaning products with DIY alternatives—like vinegar, baking soda, castile soap—to lower toxin load on tight budgets. Click here for Dr. V’s household cleaner recipe and here for more toxin-free home ideas.

You can also throw out toxic beauty products and trade them in for safe and truly beautiful solutions. Click here to discover why your skin is the largest detoxification organ and learn about the products we recommend.

Sweat

If you don’t have access to a sauna, find creative ways to sweat—one of the best ways to detox and pump up good endorphins. Exercise outside in the summer, go to a hot yoga class, crank up the heat in the winter while doing an at-home workout, take a hot shower, and then relax in the bathroom afterwards. Bring the warmth inside and push the toxins outside.

Hydrate

Water flushes impurities from your system, helps your body absorb nutrients, prevents constipation and dizziness, keeps your brain hydrated, regulates the digestive process, and provides countless other benefits. Needless to say, clean and filtered water is essential to your well-being. Click here to discover the benefits of at-home water filters and learn why investing upfront can save your health and money in the long run.

Coffee enemas

They speed up detoxification, support digestion and gut health, boost energy and mood, and oh so much more! You can do them in your bathrooms for a fairly small cost. Click here for all the details and Dr. V’s step-by-step guide.

  1. Balance Your Energy and 4. Heal Your Emotional Wounds

We put these together because all of the free (or low-cost) practices and therapies below are immensely helpful for relaxing, balancing energy, and healing emotional wounds.

Manage stress

We constantly hear stories of women pinpointing the trauma and stress that led to the development of their diagnosis, including Dr. V. This is because your thoughts can create biochemical changes in your body that literally “turn off” the cancer-promoting genes. Click here to dive deeper into the stress-cancer connection and discover specific, mostly free ways to consciously lower stress levels.

(EFT) Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping

Tap cancer and stress out of your body with EFT. To do this, you tap on specific acupuncture points on your body while focusing on and verbalizing a negative emotion or stressful situation to alleviate its intensity and promote emotional well-being. For visual support, Head Coach De’Ann hosted a free 30-day EFT challenge that you can join via our Instagram and YouTube channels. For more insight into tapping and scripts to follow, please review this blog post.

Dry skin brushing

It supports your lymphatic, nervous, and immune systems, all while providing a relaxing and invigorating self-care therapy. For more details and the dry brushing protocol we use at our Healing Diva Elite Retreats, please review this blog post.

Meditation

Countless studies on mediation have shown positive effects on decreasing psychological stress, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and fear of recurrence. Cancer cells have receptor sites for adrenaline, meaning you can stop fueling cancer by getting into relaxation mode (meditation) daily. For meditation tips and techniques, please review this blog post and listen to this podcast episode by Dr. V to learn more.

Emotional baggage

It’s time to unpack the emotions and trauma that are trapped in your body because their effects can lead to body pains, sickness, and dis-eases such as breast cancer. To uncover how, please review this blog post.

German New Medicine

The goal of German New Medicine is to implement strategies to resolve the original conflict and reduce the fears around the symptoms of a disease to regain more control over your health and well-being. To learn more, please read this blog post.

  1. Embrace Biological Dentistry

About 90% of the women Dr. V has worked with over the past 40+ years have experienced adverse health effects caused by dental toxicities. Some of the common issues include mercury-filled amalgams, root canals, cavitations, and fluoride. And just like Essential #2, daily, at-home swaps and detoxes can make a world of difference in your oral-breast health connection.

Oil Pulling

The antibacterial properties in coconut oil pull harmful microorganisms out of deep pockets between teeth and gums. It’s an almost free and simple solution to heal gums, bad breath, loose teeth, and naturally whiten teeth. For more details and Dr. V’s routine, please review this blog post.

Toxic dental products

Click here to discover toxic dental products (toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash, etc.) and find easy swaps for healthier alternatives.

Fluoride

Trash it; don’t let it near your mouth! Fluoride is just as toxic as lead, mercury, pesticides, arsenic, and other horrifically damaging neurotoxins that wreak havoc on your body and mind (Study). There are plenty of nourishing alternatives, and take a moment to uncover how fluoride directly harms your pineal gland

  1. Repair Your Body with Therapeutic Plants

Specific plants actively kill cancer cells, reduce tumors, detoxify, strengthen your immune system, and make treatments more effective. Most of them come in supplement form, but many household spices can provide similar healing effects.

Ginger

This common spice is bursting with anti-inflammatory, nausea-reducing, hormone-balancing, and metabolism-improving effects. Here are a few of our favorite ginger-based recipes, and you can buy it insupplement form:

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is critical for breast cancer healing and almost every aspect of your health. It’s the ONE vitamin that most Americans are low in, and it plays a massive role in your overall health. You can get it from supplements, eggs, sunshine, fish (sardines and salmon), mushrooms, and keep your windows wide open to natural light.

Garlic

Garlic is a go-to spice for immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory, hormone-balancing, and gut-healing benefits. Some of our favorite recipes include:

  1. Adopt Very Early Detection

While most safe and accurate tests do cost money, there are plenty of things you can do to prevent the spread of cancer stem cells, protect your P53 gene, and prevent recurrence. Below are a few blogs that share invaluable insight:

Daily healing doesn’t have to come with a high price tag. Many of the most effective ways to support your body, calm your mind, and uplift your soul are completely free—or nearly so. Basking in sunshine, ginger-focused meals, and quiet moments of meditation are all simple daily practices that weave healing into your life without draining your wallet.

Remember: you are not powerless, and every small, intentional choice matters. By leaning into the 7 Essentials System® and embracing these accessible tools, you can create a strong foundation for vibrant health, lasting energy, and peace of mind…so you never fear breast cancer again!
